Luxurious eyelashes from the happy Kingdom of Denmark
Who We Are
Founded back in 2013, Dark Swan of Denmark was one of Europe’s first brands to create handmade lashes using soft mink fur, silk and synthetic fibres.
Our first signature collection is the extravagant Luxury Mink Collection, handcrafted with the finest quality of natural mink fur. With their subtle 3D effect, these lashes add volume and length in the most natural way possible. A carefully-curated lash-band follows the delicate curve of your eye, making these lashes easy to apply, comfortable to wear, and fixed in place for all-day effect.
We made these feathery, fluttering lashes in all sorts of different shapes, styles and designs, from natural-looking daytime lashes to dramatic evening wear - but most importantly, we made them comfortable and easy to apply.
By chance, our lashes were discovered by Tricia Sawyer, head of make-up for the binge-worthy TV sitcom, House of Cards, and since then, we’ve evolved, we’ve grown, and we’ve found our niche as the go-to lash brand for celebrity make-up artists and industry professionals in need of customisable natural looking eyelashes.
What We Do
Our mission is somewhat simple. We set out to create false eye lashes that are at once functional, feathery and flawless; the kind that are comfortable to wear but also fast and easy to apply - both for first-timers and make-up professionals alike.
And because we believe in quality at every stage of our lash creation, we’ve made sure every set (including yours) gives that breathtaking, heart-flutter moment. From the first glimpse of your specially-designed lashes as you un-box them from their special case, to the moment you comfortably and flawlessly beatify your eyes to create the perfect gaze, we care about every step on our lash’s journey.
Where You’ve Seen Us
Today, not only are we dedicated to producing refined, handmade lashes for day-to-day use, we are recognised as one of the top lash choices for Hollywood, television and fashion editorials too. Our lashes have been used in award-winning 2020 films like Little Women, West Side Story and Birds of Prey, they’ve added a flick and flutter to E! News presenters, and they’ve even been flaunted on the red carpet for the Emmy’s, the Critics’ Choice Awards (we gave that show-stopping gaze to actress Margot Robbie) and at this years’ Oscars.
And just when we thought we couldn’t be any more blessed, Dior’s makeup director Peter Philipps and the beauty editors of leading fashion and beauty magazines (like ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, and Allure.com) featured Dark Swan of Denmark lashes amongst the Top 15 eyelash brands in the world.
